Our aim is to make the whole process of organising the reception as easy and as stress-free as possible for you from start to finish. We have a highly skilled and mindful events team who will be with you every step of the way to ensure all details are in hand and that nothing is overseen. We also have a fantastic onsite florist, Aura Design, who are specialist floral designers and create both memorable and exquisite arrangements for our guests.
Our beautiful and welcoming hotel certainly helps to make your day as pleasant as can be. Set in the rolling Essex countryside, Orsett Hall is easily accessible for those travelling from near or far with fantastic transport and motorway links all the way from Central London and beyond. We are located just a 15-minute drive from both Corbets Tey Crematorium and Pitsea Crematorium. Ample parking is available onsite as well as dedicated disabled parking spaces close to the hotel reception.
People often have to travel long distances for funerals which is where our stunning hotel bedrooms come into use. We have 56 stunning bedrooms which are all uniquely decorated and offer guests a peaceful retreat for the night if required.

Our function suites are all individually decorated and have their own unique styles, so if there is something you are looking for in particular from a venue then we have the space to best suit you and your requirements. For example, you might be looking for a room with fantastic scenery, natural daylight, its own private bar or garden accessibility – all of which we can offer.
Our outstanding catering allows guests to tailor their event exactly to their taste. From buffets to afternoon tea, and canapés to a full sit-down meal, we are able to provide you with a number of choices depending on your requirements for the day. We have specially created function menus for our guests to choose from, however if there is a particular dish or menu you have in mind then we are more than happy to discuss this with you to create something more bespoke. Our packages start from just £14 per person which includes food, beverages, complimentary room hire and private bar facilities.
A unique offering which is available for our guests to utilise is our breath-taking onsite Chapel. A fully licensed, tranquil venue for those looking for an intimate memorial service. It can be used for both religious and non-religious ceremonies and services.
