Orsett Hall is very flexible to your needs, and any number from 20 to 350 can be catered for at the reception, with up to 400 in the evening.
The Grahame Thomas Pavilion is now available to hold Wedding Receptions.
The ‘New’ Whitmore Suite will be completed by November 2008. The main hotel and Gold Room will be completed by March 2009.
After the rebuild, Orsett Hall will be sanctioned to hold Wedding ceremonies which can be grand and ceremonious or quiet and intimate, depending on your preference.
An accomplished toastmaster is available, to help the proceedings go smoothly, and is included in the menu price if you reach the minimum numbers and have a full sit down meal. Please note that two children will equal one adult in calculating your numbers.
When the meal has been completed, we quickly prepare the room for the evening entertainment, while it is vacated. We can provide a discotheque or live music. There is an ample dance floor in all function suites and dancing can continue until 12.30am. We can serve a variety of attractive buffet options during the evening including our delicious specialty fish tables.

Outside Catering
Orsett Hall is pleased to announce that we now allow outside catering on Sundays only and we will work with your chosen caterer to ensure that your special day goes smoothly.
This enables bride and grooms with specific menu requirements the chance to use our fantastic venue.
Please call management for a quotation for either hire only or hire only with us looking after the bar facilities.

Wedding Ceremonies
The Grahame Thomas Pavilion is now fully licensed to hold Wedding Ceremonies.
The Whitmore Suite is due to be completed November 2008 and the Gold Room is due to be completed by March 2009 and both suites will be licensed to hold Wedding Ceremonies once built.

The Grahame Thomas Pavilion
A large spacious function suite with an attractive glass roof, lots of space and light fully air conditioned
Gold Room
The ‘New’ Gold Room will have a modern but stately decor. It will be a long room, running along the front of the hotel. Fully air conditioned.
Whitmore Suite
The Whitmore Suite will be rebuilt in a similar style and layout as before the fire and is due to be completed in November 2008. Fully air conditioned.

Fee payable to a superintendent Registrar before whom a civil marriage is to be solemnised in approved premises (for his/her attendance and that of a Registrar of Marriages)

Sunday/Bank Holiday or Public Holiday: £310.00

For a certified copy of the entry in the marriage register issued at the time of registration £3.50
Please note all wedding ceremonies should be booked direct with Grays Registry Office.
Acceptable Ceremony Times (must be agreed with the Registrar):
Monday to Friday - 10 to 12am and 2.30 to 4pm
Saturday - 10 to 12am and 1.30 to 5pm
Sunday - before 5pm

Orsett Hall’s accommodation will consist of luxurious 4 star bedrooms.
In the basement area of Orsett Hall we will have a gym and various health and beauty facilities are to be available at extra cost.
