I felt I must write to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for making Emma and Stuart’s Wedding day so perfect. Your staff are an absolute credit to you, everything went smoothly, the sit down meal was superb and we couldn’t ask for better service anywhere. I have to add the buffet was also amazing – so much and so delicious (although I didn’t eat it as I was too full up from the meal!).

We all will never forget this most memorable day and I can assure you that anyone who was at this Wedding who are getting married next year will use Orsett Hall. (The Marquee looked absolutely fabulous just what Emma wanted).

My wife and I would like to thank you all for your hard work and quality service which helped to make the day one that not only us but Sandy and David and all their guests will remember always.

The food for the Reception and Evening Buffet was also well served and well cooked ~ Quality again!!!

This thank you is not only for the Management team but also everybody else as well, from the Cleaners, Receptionists, Bar Persons, Chefs and Kitchen Staff, Waitresses and anyone on the team we may have forgotten to mention.

Every one of the staff we met were always very happy and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.

It makes a refreshing change in this day and age to receive such service.

May I, on behalf of my wife and I thank you and all your staff for a wonderful day on Saturday 28th June, when my daughter Clare married Nigel. We wanted to say a big thank you to Michelle. Michelle dealt with our wedding from the very beginning when we initially came to view Orsett Hall right through to the day itself and I can not fault the service she provided.

Even when the problem arose with the guests from the ball in the marquee came into our bar, as soon as I advised Michelle, she had resolved the problem within minutes.

We really did have an amazing day of which we thank you all.

Dear Stephen,


I wanted to write a letter to you, that reflected the lasting memory, of the day that you and your team, helped to create the wedding of my daughter Sarah to her husband Del on Saturday October 9th 2004.


The 9th of October will see their first wedding anniversary, which will be celebrated at Orsett Hall.And I thought now would be the appropriate time to write.


My wife Sheila and I, would like to extend our sincere thanks, to you and your staff who looked after us, our families, and our guests, both during our stay, and with the running and organisation, of Sarah and Del's wedding ceremony, reception and evening reception.


We have been to Orsett Hall for other events in the past and have always managed to thoroughly enjoy ourselves...So what made our event different from the others?


Firstly,/ The venue, beautifully decorated and presented. Then the ceremony .... those used to church weddings were silenced by the beauty of the ceremony. It was also the care and professionalism shown by all of your staff who guided us gently and effortlessly through the wedding ceremony, removing all traces of panic from our minds. Every move being carefully explained and choreographed for us.
Our piece of magic was complemented by our toastmaster Derek and Maria our harpist, who as I know work closely alongside your staff, did a wonderful job for us throughout the day.
We are also very happy that we engaged David Strelitz as our videographer, who apart from producing a beautiful DVD of the day, also blended in as part of the team, becoming an integral part of the day.


The catering .... The meal for the reception, and the buffet in the evening was superb, well presented and appreciated by all of us. Your catering staff, and David made sure that every need was met, no request was too much.


I have to say that, had nothing been mentioned I would not of belived that TWO other wedding receptions were taking place at Orsett Hall.


Our stay in Orsett hall from the Friday night to the Sunday morning, was made a memorable and unforgettable occasion thanks to a very special team.


We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Orsett Hall for any occasion.

We have found every member of staff that we have dealt with to be efficient and friendly. This was even more evident on our wedding day when every guest commented on what a perfect day it was, how lovely the food was and what a perfect venue you offer.
