Clients and their guests are
required to conduct themselves in a
reasonable manner at all times:
Unruly clients and their guests will
be evicted with no refund of monies
paid.

Orsett Hall Hotel (hereafter
referred to as 'the Hotel') reserves the right to hold the
client liable for any loss or damage
to the Hotel's property, fixtures and
fittings, including items hired for
their use. They may also be held
liable for injury to any persons
including Hotel staff which arises
from the client's actions.

Clients or their guests may not
consume food or drink on the
premises that has not been supplied
by the Hotel.

The
Hotel will not be liable for any
failure to provide, or delay in
providing, facilities or services as
a result of events or matters
outside the Hotel's control.

The
Hotel will take all reasonable steps
to ensure that the requirements of
each client are met. However, the
Hotel reserves the right to provide
alternative services of at least
comparable standard at no extra cost
to the client.

The
Hotel is not liable for equipment or
personal belongings.

Clients' reservations are charged on
arrival.
-
The
Hotel requires at least 14 days to
set up a credit account and reserves
the right to refuse credit or
withdraw credit at any time without
notice.

Credit accounts are due for payment
14 days following invoice date. The
Hotel reserves the right to add a
credit charge of 2.5% per month to
overdue accounts.

Should a deposit be required for any
booking or event this will be
detailed separately to the client.
All deposits and prepayments are
non-refundable and non-transferable
in the event of cancellation.

Our
all inclusive prices include VAT at
a rate of 20%. In the event of a
variation in rate this will be
recalculated and passed on to all
customers.

Our
exclusive prices will have VAT
calculated at the relevant rate
applicable at the time of invoice.

An
individual booking is only confirmed
if supported by a deposit requested
by the Hotel or credit card
‘’guarantee’’.
-
Company and group bookings are only
confirmed if supported in writing
with approved credit facilities or
if supported by a suitable deposit
requested by the Hotel.

Individual bookings may normally be
cancelled up until 12pm on the day
of arrival from Monday to Wednesday
and 12pm on the day before arrival
Thursday to Sunday – excluding Bank
Holidays. There will be a £20
administration fee on cancellation
of a booking.

Unless
otherwise agreed in writing
provisional bookings will be held
for 14 days after which they will be
automatically released without
notice.

A
booking is only confirmed if
supported in writing by the client
with approved credit facilities or
if supported by a suitable deposit
requested by the Hotel.

A
final schedule of events must be
given to the Hotel at least seven
days prior to the commencement date.
Any changes made after this time
must be made in writing and the
Hotel reserves the right to move the
event to an alternative room should
the numbers reduce or increase from
the original booking. In the event
of this occurring, any additional
charges will be levied.

Once confirmed the booking is
subject to the cancellation,
curtailment or reduction clauses
below:-

Final numbers are to be confirmed no
less than 7 days prior to the event.

The Hotel will accept a reduction of
up to 10% of numbers originally
booked.

The
Hotel will always charge for a
minimum of 90% of numbers originally
booked.

In
the event that the client has to
cancel or curtail a booking the
Hotel will charge a cancellation fee
based on the following scale:

Cancellations received with 4-2
week’s notice – 35% of contract
price.

Cancellations received with 14-7
days notice – 50% of contract price.
-
Cancellations received
with less than 7 days notice – Full
contract price.

Conference delegates with bedroom
bookings that do not stay for the
confirmed number of nights will be
charged regardless of circumstance.

If
the conference room is not vacated
by the times indicated in the
contract, the Hotel reserves the
right to levy an additional usage
charge.

If
delegates/company will be paying
their bills on departure a credit
card must be supplied.

As
the Hotel is in permanent use, we
ask you to understand that it may be
necessary to schedule works of a
maintenance or re-development nature
during the time of the event. While
every reasonable effort will be made
to ensure that these do not cause
you any disruption, neither the
Hotel nor its staff can be held
liable for these circumstances.
